The mission of the Yachats Academy of Arts & Sciences is to provide educational and entertainment opportunities for people on the central Oregon coast. Sponsored by Polly Plumb Productions, we encourage the residents of the village of Yachats, Oregon to work with Academy board members to organize those events that they judge to be most enjoyable.

Rev. Glenn was intimately involved in the Appalachian struggles for human and civil rights in the early 1960s, the desegration of public schools in the 1970s, and the Family Farm crisis in the 1980s.
Max will share his first-hand experiences organizing grassroots folks to participate in decision-making, developing economic alternatives and lobbying in Washington, DC and state legislatures.
